Natalie's Review

Langmeil Hangin' Snakes Shiraz Viognier 2008, The Long Mile, Barossa, South Australia, Australia: Vintages Wine Panel: Opaque ruby in colour, this bold combo of Shiraz and Viognier is textbook Barossa. There is good intensity and complexity on the nose, with aromas of ripe blackberry, roasted coffee beans, black cherry, vanilla, eucalyptus and pepper. It’s dry, full-bodied with a mouth-filling texture and rich black fruit flavours, pie crust, vanilla and spicy liquorice notes. Well balanced and supported by silky tannins. My note: Minty blackberry nose with plush plums on the palate. Generous, full-bodied and lovely. 77685 14.50% D 750 mL  $20.95 Score: 90/100. February 6, 2010  Full Review
