Natalie's Review

Pierre Sparr Réserve Pinot Blanc 2010, A.C., Alsace, France: Being an exceptionally food-friendly wine Pinot Blanc makes for a nice alternative to Chardonnay. From one of Alsace’s most formidable domains, this version displays subtle aromas of apple, sweet citrus, grapefruit, pear and mineral notes. It has good length, dry with medium weight, and has balanced acidity. You will find it quite refreshing. Pure white melon and grapefruit: refreshing and vibrant. Clean without oak. Great aperitif. 134635 12.50% D 750 mL  $14.95 Score: 87/100. January 21, 2012  Full Review
