Louis Max Beaucharme Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2007, A.C., Burgundy, France: Vintages Wine Panel: The aromas are subtle, but there are red berry, mineral and earthy notes on the nose. It’s dry, medium-bodied with lively acidity, with sour cherry, redcurrant and earthy mushroom flavours. It finishes crisp. Enjoy this Pinot. My note: Not fruit forward but with mouth-watering acidity, tart cherries and earth. It’s rustic but tasty, with an Old World style and light on the oak. Medium-bodied. Definitely needs food. 158915 12.50% XD 750 mL $19.95 Score: 88/100. February 6, 2010 Full Review
