Drink Wine and Giggle Gals rated this wine as
75/100 with the following review:
Because we love Kim Crawford sauvignon blanc so much, we thought her cousin Kim Crawford pinot noir would be another welcome addition to our girlfriend get togethers. We were wrong. While Lynne enjoys this wine (especially when she's in a carnivorous mood) Julie finds it not at all to her liking. Deb can take it or leave it.
Dan Trcka rated this wine as
87/100 with the following review:
The 2010 Kim Crawford Pinot Noir is a light bodied, fruity wine with cherry notes. It has refined tannins (decant for 15 min) and a medium, slightly sweeter, mineral finish. Drink now and for the next couple of years. Drink-how: have it with lightly flavoured foods (eg. Pizza). My impression: NOTHING SPECIAL to NICE, 87 pts. Tasted Aug/12.

Holly Bruns rated this wine as
84/100 with the following review:
At fourteen percent alcohol, this is a little richer than most Pinot, but the smooth quality of the wine is enticing. Slightly earthy on the nose with dark cherry, plum and a hint of mint. A round, fruity finish that makes this an easy sipper.

Kim Crawford Pinot Noir 2010, Marlborough, New Zealand: Vintages Wine Panel: Pinot Noir is the second-most cultivated variety in Marlborough. Kim Crawford has crafted a complex and delicious wine in the 2008 vintage. It is filled with aromas of sour cherry, underbrush, raspberry, mushroom and coffee bean. The fruit is front and centre with moderate tannins adding balance. Cellar it 2-4 years, or serve it tonight. My note: Lovely cherry fruit with some cinnamon spice on the finish. Medium-bodied and mouth-watering. Has that zippy New Zealand character. Juicy, mouth-watering pinot with ripe fleshy cherries and field berries. Medium-bodied and smooth. Drink: 2010-2016. 626390 13.50% XD 750 mL $19.95 Score: 91/100. January 3, 2012 Full Review
