Natalie's Review

Casa Lapostolle Cuvée Alexandre Cabernet Sauvignon 2010, Colchagua Valley, Chile: Vintages Wine Panel: Deep ruby colour with a youthful purple rim. Aromas of chocolate raspberry, açaí, blackcurrant, mocha, woodsmoke and vanilla. This dry wine has plentiful fruit at its centre. It will reward 1-3 years in a cellar before enjoyment, and then should drink well for the next 5+. My note: Very dry and savoury with dried herbs and cassis. Lovely elegance with a long finish. Very well-structured. Decant 2 hours. A dinner party wine. Drink: 2011-2015. 947929 14.50% XD 750 mL  $24.95 Score: 90/100. December 10, 2011 Top Rated Red Wine. Voluptuous Veal Wine  Full Review
