Cave Spring Musqué Chardonnay 2009, V.Q.A., Beamsville Bench, Niagara Peninsula. Ontario, Canada: Vintages Wine Panel: This makes for a refreshing alternative to traditional Chardonnay. Unoaked to retain the pure and lively aromas and flavours of the aromatic Chardonnay Musqué grape, it delivers notes of field flowers, sweet apples, lime and pears. Medium bodied and richly flavoured, this balanced and crisp wine boasts quite a considerable finish. My note: Superb and fascinatingly different. Rich notes of ripe peach and pear with a zesty lift in the middle. Insanely great price. Drink: 2011-2015.  246579  13%  XD  750 mL  $15.95  Score: 89/100.
