Fresh, spring aromas of forest, herbs, and red berries. On the palate, currants, raspberries, warm baking spices with a hint of fresh tobacco. Contrary to the Advocate`s tasting note, the tannins are no longer grainy, but quite smooth. I`m 92 on this wine because the roundness of the fresh fruit is not overpowering the low acidity. -Rachel (ottawwinejournal.com)
