A really nice medium yellow Chardonnay from the Santa Lucia Highlands of Monterey County in California. Aromas of caramel, melon and tropical fruits are crisp and refreshing. A blend of 50% american and french oak gives this chardonnay some nice crisp fruit flavours with a hint of caramel in the background. It has a smooth medium bodied finish of tropical fruits. This wine pairs well with honey garlic chicken.
Liberty School Chardonnay 2008, Central Coast, California, United States: Lusciously big pineapple and tropical fruit notes with a round, viscous mouth-filling texture and a toasty vanilla-caramel finish. Great price for big Chardonnay. Drink: 2011-2015. 960120 13.50% XD 750 mL $18.95 Score: 89/100. November 26, 2011 Best Value White Wine. Full Review
