Andrew Bernardo Wine Journal
rated this wine as 92/100
with the following review:
Classic Gigondas aromas of herbs, lavender, and violets wrapped around stoney briar fruit. Palate gets darker with black fruits, iron, black tea, anise, and a hint of graphite often present in the best Châteauneufs. Seamless and pure. Could age 5-10 more years with ease. I'm 92+ points on this wine. (ottawawinejournal.com)

one of those wow wines. Guigal has never disapointed! The wine is full body but, the tannins are soft. Drink now or put it away for a while.
E. Guigal Gigondas 2007, A.C., Rhône, France: A good grip with tasty black raspberries and cigar box notes. Full-bodied and generous. This is incredibly superb craftsmanship for this price point. Drink: 2011-2020. 331900 14% XD 750 mL $29.95 Score: 93/100. November 12, 2011 Full Review
