Vina Requingua Toro De Piedra Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon 2008, Curicó Valley, Chile: Vintages Wine Panel: The Curicó Valley’s reputation for producing some of Chile’s best Cabernet Sauvignon is championed by this 2008 offering. Complex aromas including blackcurrant, smoke and raspberry. The palate is dry with a nice depth of flavour. Rich, dense and delicious berry fruit with accents of woodsmoke and supporting tannins. Finely balanced and culminating in a satisfying, medium-long finish. Cellar for 3+ years, or enjoy tonight. My note: Juicy, tasty and mouth-watering. Good structure in this cab which balances the fleshy black fruit. A smoky finish. Amazing price. Drink: 2011-2015. 39362 14% XD 750 mL $14.95 Score: 89/100. November 12, 2011 Best Value Red Wine.
