Jackson Triggs Niagara Estate Gold Series Merlot 2009, V.Q.A., Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, Canada: Vintages Wine Panel: Aromas of plum, coffee bean, sour cherry, spice box, and toast. Medium-full bodied with good fruit presence on the palate, and a complex interplay between bright fruit and the rich, spicy elements. Very poised. Give this wine 2-3 years in cellar, or enjoy it tonight. My note: Savoury and juicy with fleshy black plums and dark field berries. Full-bodied and smooth. I am liking this wine a lot. Decant 1-2 hours. Drink: 2011-2017. 255901 13.80% XD 750 mL $21.95 Score: 90/100. November 12, 2011 Full Review
