Viña Cobos Felino Chardonnay 2010, Mendoza, Argentina: Vintages Wine Panel: This winery is co-owned by the great California producer Paul Hobbs. Attractive yellow-straw colour with a green tinge. Aromas suggest ripe pear, apple-cinnamon, buttered toast and coconut. Dry, crisply fruity with a gentle toastiness (only 20% of the juice receives oak contact). The bright acids ably surround the fruit tones. This nicely textured wine would be a good match for a vast array of other seafood dishes. My note: Nicely done! Good balance with pleasant green apple and toasted almond finish. Full-bodied and luscious. Drink: 2011-2015. 119099 14.50% XD 750 mL $19.95 Score: 89/100. November 12, 2011 Full Review
