Liberty School Zinfandel 2008, California, United States: Vintages Wine Panel: Take note, students of wine! Here's a quick lesson on the subject of Zinfandel: Croatian in origin, this grape took so well to the Californian climate that in the 19th century it became this sunny state's signature variety. Displaying classic flavours of wild blackberry and spice, this 2008 is a prime example of the style. My note: Juicy and delicious, just what you want and expect in Cal Zin!
