André & Edmond Figeat Les Chaumiennes Pouilly-Fumé 2010, A.C., Loire, France: Vintages Wine Panel: An attractive nose of nettle, grass, apple and grilled onions. The palate is dry, crisp and smoky with vegetal flavours mingling in with the apple and pear fruit. A seam of racy acidity keeps the various elements balanced and in check. Nice length. Enjoy this pleasing Sauvignon Blanc. My note: Lovely, lifted green apple flavor and lime zest. A touch of oak that gives only a whisper of smoke on the finish. Drink: 2011-2015. 196659 13% XD 750 mL $21.95 Score: 90/100. October 15, 2011 Full Review
