Natalie's Review

Masi Toar 2007, I.G.T., Veronese, Veneto, Italy: Vintages Wine Panel: Toar was the first product to feature the ancient grape Oseleta, a variety saved from extinction by Masi. For this wine, Masi blends it with the classic Valpolicella grapes Corvina and Rondinella to create this wine. The wines mature for 12 months in new oak barrels. After blending, the wine is given a further 6 to 12 months in bottle before release. Cellar it 3-4 years, or enjoy it tonight. My note: A pleasant medium- to full-bodied sipper that’s satin smooth with attractive notes of cassis and blackberry. Drink: 2011-2015. 342444 13% XD 750 mL  $21.95 Score: 88/100.
