Andrew Bernardo Wine Journal rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Once you break through the earthy, gaminess on the nose, your palate welcomes fresh red currant, and pleasantly bitter blackberry fruit that takes you through to a surprisingly long finish. The fruit-forwardness of the wine allows the carefully balanced acidity to almost sneak up on you. Score: 91 Points. - Rachel (ottawawinejournal.com)
