E. Guigal Crozes-Hermitage 2007, A.C., Rhône, France: Vintages Wine Panel: Deep ruby coloured (mostly) Syrah with aromas of blackberry, white pepper, hickory smoke, dried black olive, tobacco and game. Dry with very good aroma replays on the palate. Moderate tannins and fresh acidity give it terrific balance. It is very tasty now, or cellar for 5+ years. My note: Peppery, mouth-watering juiciness with black cherry and black raspberry aromas. Gorgeous! Full-bodied and smooth. Happiness in a bottle. Drink: 2011-2019. 704908 13% XD 750 mL $24.95 Score: 91/100. October 1, 2011 Full Review
