Natalie's Review

Château St. Georges 2008, A.C., St-Georges St-Émilion, Bordeaux, France: Vintages Wine Panel: Complex nose, including plum, tobacco, cherry, earth and tomato leaf. Dry and intense with a good mix of fruit, acidity and tannins. Will age well for 3-5 years. This medium-bodied, long-finishing wine is a good choice for roast leg of lamb with rosemary and garlic. My note: One of the best “bargains” for Bordeaux. Gorgeous concentration of black cherry liqueur aromas with layers of depth and a long finish. A mind-blowingly great dinner party wine.
