Château Pontet Chappaz 2008, A.C., Margaux, Bordeaux, France: Vintages Wine Panel: Forward aromas, including cherry, oregano, plum, mineral and new leather. Dry and complex with very good fruit tones surrounded by moderate tannins and acidity. This finely tuned wine will reward 3-5 years in a cellar. Enjoyable now, decanted. My note: Full-bodied with black fruit and attractive mouth-watering acidity. Overpriced by $10 but this wine won’t disappoint you. Drink: 2011-2015. 243956 13% XD 750 mL $39.95 Score: 88/100.
