Reviews and Ratings

Philippe Perreault - Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

It's a blend of Frontenac Gris (80%) and Frontenac Blanc (20%)!

Clear yellow/green color with notes of honey, pear, pastry, vanilla and peach!

The wine is lively, elegant and long.

Pair it with lobster or Matane shrimp with garden pea puree and mango espuma!

Serve it at 8-10 degrees.

This wine is ready to drink!
Julia Kelada rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

I was offered this wine at a blind tasting recently. I had wanted to go on a wee wine hunt in the Quebec region and to be honest i was not very enthusiastic as i knew i wouldn't really find any of "my style"wines! so i tasted the disguised wine and i said…..Oh My!..this was a seriously delicious wine. Well I'm sure you all know the punch line by now! It was from Quebec! I am highly embarrassed to say that i would have thought this was a Napa wine ….well no! I would drink this wine with a starter, main or dessert, but i would personally think it pairs better with a dessert. It is not necessarily sweet, infact it is medium dry with a light refreshing acidity. This wine though is bursting with fruits, pears and peaches…its a delight! this could be the dessert…i felt a little like i was eating a peach cobbler!!
Pairing this wine with a main dish i would match it with any dish cooked with cream, the light acidity would cut through the richness of the dish and marry beautifully with it. Please rid the stigma and give it a go at $15.55 it's worth every penny!
Bottoms up!
