Pepperjack Barossa Red 2012, Barossa Valley, Australia: A wow wine! Mouth-watering aromas of wild blackberry and mulberry on the nose that delivers luscious, fleshy, juicy flavour on the palate. Full-bodied and very supple with layers of caressing pleasure on the tongue. Not overdone or a fruit bomb by any means: balanced, and dignified as only the way Barossa Valley reds can do. This is a robust red wine finishes with nuances of violets, anise and a touch of mocha. Perfect for hearty meat dishes. Highly recommended. Toasty, refreshing and classic Niagara bubbly. Serve this at New Year's or a wedding with pride. Toasty with green apple goodness and a lovely and persistent mousse. This is classic and elegant with the right finesse for any celebration. Pair this zesty sparkling wine with lobster, crab, shrimp, oysters and grilled calamari seafood platter. This Ontario sparkler uses the traditional Champagne method and grapes to make the wine. It's a blend of Pinot Noir (70%) and Chardonnay (30%) grapes. Pair with potato chips and celebrity gossip. Concha Y Toro Reserva 2012, Maipo Valley, Chile: Concha Y Toro produces this robust red wine of extraordinary value/taste for the money! Mocha and dark chocolate aromas wrap themselves seductively around a core of fleshy blackberry fruit. Full-bodied and smooth. This wine is a blend of three grapes, thus “Trio”, including Cabernet Sauvignon (70% of the blend), Shiraz and Cabernet Franc. Finishes with some lovely cassis and pepper notes. Perfect party wine! Rutherford Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon 2012, Napa Valley, California, United States: A balanced wine and a great value. This is mostly cabernet sauvignon with some merlot and zinfandel grapes in the blend. Dark fruit aromas are wrapped in toasty oak. Nice symmetry and balance with full-bodied weight. Gets my vote!
