Quails' Gate Estate Winery Pinot Noir 2007, V.Q.A., Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, Canada: Gorgeous aromas of fleshy cherries with a luxuriously silky texture. This is Canadian Pinot Noir at its very best. Some dark spices and black raspberry on the finish. Outstanding effort. Serve it to friends and then reveal it's from BC. Drink: 2010-2016. 585760 14% D 750 mL  $24.95 Score: 92/100. May 15, 2010 Favourite Red Wine. Delightful Duck Wine Full Review
Robert Mondavi Winery Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon 2006, Oakville District, Napa Valley, California, United States: Spectacular: finesse, elegance and all those other vague superlatives that truly apply to this wine. Old World styling, balance, structure and length with New World concentration, energy and optimism. Yes, we’re still talking about wine here. This is the Napa classic. You deserve to try it at least once… you’ll be back. Drink: 2012-2020. 26557 14.50% D 750 mL  $102.00 Score: 93/100. February 5, 2011 Favourite Red Wine. Full Review
