La Gravette De Certan 2Nd Wine Of Vieux Château Certan Héritière De Mr Et Mme Georges Thienpont, Prop. 2009, A.C., Pomerol, Bordeaux, France: Black as night with tarry aromas and flavours, plus fleshy black fruit. Tannic, so decant at least 2 hours. It will cellar for 3-4 years and soften around the edges. Drink: 2013-2016.  256792  14%  XD  750 mL  $69.95  Score: 90/100. February 4, 2012 Full Review
Champy Beaune Vieilles-Vignes 2008, A.C., Burgundy, France: More earthy and smoky, less fruity than the other Champy pinot in this release, but no less spectacular. These are amazing wines for the price point: so vibrant and beautifully structured yet medium-bodied liquid silk that slides down ever so easily. There's a lovely hazelnut smoke on the finish. This is my personal favourite and I'll be buying a lot of it. Yay! Drink: 2012-2018.  726406  13.50%  XD  750 mL  $28.95  Score: 92/100. February 18, 2012 Top Rated Red Wine. Full Review
Domaine Gille 2009, A.C., Côtes De Nuits-Villages, Burgundy, France: Drink: 2012-2016.  210864  13%  XD  750 mL  $28.95. July 7, 2012 Full Review
Domaine Chanson Teurons 1Er Cru 2008, A.C., Beaune, Burgundy, France: A gorgeous rose of a wine: delicate yet concentrated with flavour. Seductive fleshy red cherries, satin texture and a finish that goes on forever. One of the best pinot noirs that I’ve tasted in quite some time. Why do I always fall in love with the expensive ones? Drink: 2011-2020.  84426  13.50%  XD  750 mL  $43.95  Score: 95/100. December 10, 2011 Top Rated Red Wine. Full Review
Domaine Poulleau Père & Fils Oak Aged 2009, A.C., Volnay, Burgundy, France: Gorgeous black cherry liqueur concentration of flavour, yet this wine is not heavy. Satin smooth with seductive notes of violets and deep-seated pleasure on the finish. Drink: 2011-2017.  265025  13%  D  750 mL  $39.95  Score: 92/100. March 3, 2012 Top Rated Red Wine. Full Review
Louis Latour 2009, A.C., Marsannay, Burgundy, France: Drink: 2012-2017.  279018  13%  XD  750 mL  $24.95. July 21, 2012 Full Review
Jean-Paul Brun 2009, A.C., Côte De Brouilly, Beaujolais, France: Juicy and generous with fleshy cherries and field raspberries. Just enough bite to make this wine refreshing and food friendly. Lovely balance, smooth texture and medium-bodied weight. Drink: 2009-2013.  235127  12.50%  D  750 mL  $18.95  Score: 89/100. August 6, 2011 Full Review
