Pirramimma Cabernet Sauvignon 2006, Mclaren Vale, South Australia, Australia: Juicy and full-bodied with blackberry and black plums. Some mocha and spice on the finish. 730374 14.50% D 750 mL  $24.95 Score: 90/100. July 24, 2010 Full Review
Domaine Puig-Parahy Georges Carignan Grenache Syrah 2007, A.C., Côtes De Roussillon, Midi, France: A blend of Carignan, Grenache and a little Syrah. Fantastic peppery, blackberry nose! Supple and full-bodied with a deep, dark concentration of flavour. Chewy tannins and a long, satisfying finish. I can’t believe how low the price is for this one. Drink: 2010-2015. 171025 14.50% XD 750 mL  $16.95 Score: 91/100. May 1, 2010 Best Value Red Wine. Full Review
Viña Aljibes Vino De La Tierra De Castilla Petit Verdot Cabernet Sauvignon Tempranillo 2009, Spain, Spain: Savoury, dark and delicious with black fruit, dark spice and cedar forest. Great price. Drink: 2012-2015. 276212 13% D 750 mL  $13.95 Score: 89/100. August 4, 2012 Best Value Red Wine. Full Review
Brazin Old Vine Zinfandel 2007, California, United States: Spectacularly rich and concentrated with aromas of big brambleberries, blackberries and exotically dark spices. Grapes come from vines that are 50 to 80 years old. Vanilla smoke and mocha add richness in the mid-palate with the wine finishes with a lingering come-back-to-me longing. Classic California Zin in every sense. Drink: 2010-2014. 14% XD 750 mL  $21.95 Score: 90/100. April 28, 2010 Full Review
