Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
Dan Trcka rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review: The Château Des Charmes Brut Methode Traditionelle (year is not displayed on the bottle) is composed of equal amounts of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir that was aged on lees for over 3 years using the traditional method. It has captivating aromas of lime, minerality and subtle lees on the nose and gooseberry and subtle raspberry on the palate. It is a medium bodied, lightly sweet, fruity wine; BALANCED with refreshing acidity, fine effervescence and a medium to long finish. Enjoy this wine on-its-own; dink now-2018+. My impression: BEAUTIFUL, 90 pts – recommended for its quality and value – excellent choice for the upcoming festivities. Tasted Nov/13. Mark Britton rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review: This is a bone dry sparkling which is loaded with minerality. If you are looking for fruiit in you sparkling wine you won't find it here, but what you get is an extremely smooth wine that is an excellent food pairing option for seafood, cheese platters, or chicken.
