Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
|Slightly old-fashioned style of shiraz – especially given that it’s from Margaret River – but there’s little doubting the fruit quality here. Toasty oak and lots of it. Sets the style from the outset. Supported though by a good, almost rich, hit of plumy fruit, regional bay leaf-like notes “swinging” from the edges. Decent amount of grip through the finish. Solid wine. The components here are good, even if the oak is heavy. Drink 2014-2018. Score: 90. Source: Campbell Mattinson, winefront.com.au, Jan. 22, 2013|
