|Ripasso is a special way of producing Valpolicella in which the wine is passed over the pomace from Amarone to undergo further fermentation. This “repassing” creates deeply coloured and richly flavoured wines. This version displays aromas and flavours of sweet black cherry, spice, cedar and dark chocolate. The palate is dry, medium-full bodied, soft, round and plush with a wonderful mouthfeel and a dry and flavourful finish. Source: Vintages Wine Panel|
