Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
|Ironstone is known for good quality California wines at good prices. You get all the classic characteristics of black currants and blackberries, plus an edge of mission figs. The tannin is disciplined and the wood treatment has added smoke and sweet vanilla notes as well. Source: Dan Kislenko, The Hamilton Spectator|
