|This winner of a Gold Medal at the 2011 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition is named for the gnarled look of the old head-pruned Zinfandel vines scattered throughout Lodi, and offers great value. Look for berry, cedar, black pepper and meaty aromas as well as mocha, spice and earth notes in this dry, grippy red. Get some of your best “dudes” together and enjoy this “gnarly” wine.|
