Gnarly Head Old Vine Zinfandel 2007 Wine Review
I’ve loved this wine for a number of years now. Laced with fleshy purple plums, blueberries and a lick of anise, it’s a delicious dinner companion. The old gnarly vines are free-standing and head-trained, meaning they’re not trained on trellis wires and their grapes are picked by hand for extra gentle handling.
