Nina rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review: Proudly from Ontario! Amazing example of Vidal Ice wine! Golden bright color. On the nose lots of tropical fruits, honey, floral accent, amazing nose! On the palate sweet, but not too sweet. Dried fruits, honey, maple syrup. Finish is soft, long and delicious.

Apricot is the most notable fruit with lots of bright honey notes. Wow! This wine is sweet, there is no doubt, but the acidity is present and the result is balance. I don't often commend an icewine for balance, but this one has nailed it! Also, the price point makes this wine an easy entry into the icewine world as you won't break the bank for an impressive dessert wine that will result in big smiles as you entertain your guests!

It is not too sweet, has a great acidity and finish. Though not meant to be aged, it can be enjoyed for the next few years. A glass full of honey and summer fruits. Sweet but not overly so, it's a solid pairing with salty charcuterie and big, bold blue cheeses. A terrific gateway wine if you've never tasted ice wine, because at $17.95 it's an experiment that won't break the bank.

It’s voluptuously sweet, fragrant and concentrated with deliciously peachy/apricot/honey flavours; in fact, it’s easier to say what flavours aren’t there. It’s also fresh, lively and at 9.5%, low in alcohol. If you don’t want to make crème-brulee, just sip a glass (or two, it’s hard to stop and the bottle is so small!) of Flourish and, if you haven’t discovered the delight of sweet wine with fruit and cheese, go for it!

Susan Desjardins reviewed this wine as follows: A golden value offering enticing aromas of honey, beeswax, candied and tropical fruit, this is a succulent, rich wine with a satiny texture. Luscious ripe stone fruit, brandied peaches, recurring sweet honey and lemon curd flavours coat the palate, riding on an underlying frame of citrusy acidity. The wine finishes long, sweet and sumptuous. Pair it with an artisan cheese plate including Northern Gold, Avonlea Clothbound Cheddar and Ile aux Grues Cheddar.
Full yellow-gold with aromas of honeycomb, maple syrup, peach nectar, apricot and sweet lemonade. Sweet and delectably fruity, brought into instant balance by vibrant acidity. Interesting spiced tea note emerges on the mid-palate. The finish is long and lush. Source: Vintages Wine Panel
