Duque De Medina Gran Reserva Bodegas Ignacio Marín Tempranillo 2000
Note: I publish batches of reviews that I call Good Values Wine Picks. These are from the regular section of the liquor store rather than the Vintages section, and tend to be lower priced and the most widely available of all wines. The last four reviews I did were: September 11, July 26, September 12 and March 7.

|Cariñera is another fast-developing Spanish region that is producing exciting wines. This award-winning Tempranillo-based example is very lively and fresh. It's filled with lovely aromas of black fruit, spring flowers, black olive and leather. Dry, almost a touch sweet at the start until a fine seam of tannins come on to bring balance.
