Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
|Michel Pinard has vinified the oldest vines in the field, older than forty years, to develop this beautiful Touraine whose nose plays on notes of candied orange, vanilla and leather. Strong in attack, rich and voluminous, the slightly woody mouth-feel still requires a bit of time, but the persistent fruity finish is already a delight. Some lovely roasted poultry will accompany this bottle beautifully. The more pronounced tannins will benefit from two years in the cellar. Score: 2 (out of 3) (Remarkable Wine).
