Baron Philippe De Rothschild Languedoc-Roussillon Cabernet Sauvignon 2012
A full-bodied, tannic red wine with aromas of black fruit, tar, and toasty oak. Good price. Decant 2 hours. Pair with hearty meat dishes. Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: red meats, cheeses.

|Paula Bernardino rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:|
I thought this French wine had a nice woody smell with an interesting flavour of cassis and dark berries. What I particularly enjoyed was the smooth taste in the mouth. I first had this wine a year ago at a Gala but it's a great choice to have on a Sunday night while winding down before the beginning of a busy week. I paired it with hard cheeses: Oka and Emmental.
|Deep purple; intense cassis aroma & flavour with herbal notes; medium-full bodied with firm tannins and raspberry notes in the finish.|
