The Bonarda grape may be lesser known than Malbec in Argentina, but it produces terrific full-bodied red wines for the money. Blackberry, toasty oak and dark chocolate fill out the nose here. Zuccardi is a leading producer in Argentina.

Dianne Fisher Sommelier, ISG rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

This is a luscious, mouth coating wine. Inky purple colour coat the glass. The nose shows notes of black pepper, black fruit, sous-bois and a hint of lavender. The acidity is brilliant and the tannins are soft. I repeat, luscious!

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
