Yabby Lake Vineyard Cooralook Pinot Gris 2008
Note: I publish batches of reviews that I call Good Values Wine Picks. These are from the regular section of the liquor store rather than the Vintages section, and tend to be lower priced and the most widely available of all wines. The last four reviews I did were: March 5, February 26, September 11 and July 26.
Yabby Lake Vineyard Cooralook Pinot Gris 2008 Wine Review
Bright melon aromas and a crisp, refreshing zest. There's some white pear and lime on the finish. Lovely aperitif or versatile companion to many dishes. 4.4/5 Pinot Gris food pairings: BBQ salmon, grilled chicken, lobster and seafood salads.

|Not your ordinary Pinot Gris. This wine has intriguing aromatics|
suggestive of honeysuckle, pears and citrus, while exhibiting excellent
balance, and a complex mineral defined finish. Extremely versatile for the
purpose of pairing, standing up to regional Asian fare with distinct spice
to more traditional sautéed veal chops
