Reviews and Ratings

rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

It has been a while since I have tasted Wolf Blass Yellow Label Chardonnay and what a change in style since my last glass! This is the 2013 vintage which shows a pale straw colour and a muted nose. On the palate it is very clean and restrained. Lemon citrus, a hint of almond and ginger. For those who have been looking for a clean and no oak to lightly oaked Chardonnay I encourage you to try!
Community Reviewer reviewed this wine as follows:

Summery tropical fruit aromas of melon and peach drift up to the nose and then develop into lively varietal fruit characteristics on the palate. These fruity flavours are balanced by a clean acidity, subtle oak influence and good length.

Community Reviewer reviewed this wine as follows:

Les arômes de fruits tropicaux d’été de melon et de peche remontent le nez et se développent en caractcres fruités et vifs du cépage sur le palais. Ces saveurs fruitées sont équilibrées par une acidité nette, l’influence subtile du chene

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
