Stunning! Concentrated, deep flavours of fleshy black fruit, toasty oak, anise. Plush and supple, superbly crafted. Incredible quality for the price. Pair with filet mignon.

Louise Wilson ISG Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Both powerful and restrained - like a racehorse in the gates. Pristine blackberry fruit, perfectly judicious oak, well balanced ripe tannin, with a generous length. A very likable wine. Drink now through 2020. Pair with BBQ lamb burgers.
Darlene Myers CAPS Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Deep gorgeous flavors and finely balanced, this wine is one of my favorite steak wines. Dark fruits, pepper, spice and a hint of chocolate combine to make a wonderfully complex wine. And although I love it with steak, believe me when I say it will be welcome with anything you put on the grill. This is a meat-lover's wine.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
