Melting butter on warm, freshly baked bread on the nose of this lovely, rich Californian Chardonnay with layers of luscious flavour. The winery's Coastal Collection of wines included bottlings beyond their Napa Valley stronghold. Notes of vanilla toffee and golden apple. Pair with roast chicken or turkey. The Chardonnay grapes for this Californian white wine are grown in the hidden vineyards of the North Coast and Central cost in the state. Finishes with stone fruit, caramel and pear. A luscious, opulent finish.

Chardonnay food pairings: toasted ravioli served with Alfredo sauce, lobster in melted butter, cheese, grilled seafood.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

From North Coast, California, shows lots of tree fruit and vanilla on nose. Palate shows ripe tree fruit and tropical flavours with vanilla and creamy coconut. Mild flavours overall, a bit disappointing.

A rich, golden, butterscotch Californian Chardonnay with layers of luscious flavour. Notes of vanilla toffee and golden apple. Pair with roast chicken or turkey. The Chardonnay grapes for this Californian white wine are grown in the hidden vineyards of the North Coast and Central cost in the state. Finishes with stone fruit, caramel and pear. A luscious, opulent, lush mid-palate finish. - Community Wine Reviews
