|A pretty wine ... On the palate it was well balanced. The acid and the tannin were in check with the amount of fruit. A very long finish. It seemed to do extremely well with food. This smoky, rich, meaty taste developed and extended the finish on the wine making it even longer and more savoury. It was one of my favourite matches of the entire competition.
