Wakefield Chardonnay 2009
Wakefield Chardonnay 2009 Wine Review
This ripe, luscious, peach, nectarine and citrus-scented wine with well-integrated creamy oak tones resulting in a clean, balanced, and fruity drink. Robust Chardonnay with big aromas of butterscotch, vanilla smoke and fleshy peach. Full oak treatment in this full-bodied white. 4.4/5 Chardonnay food pairings: roast pork, mushroom risotto, Chinese spice-encrusted duck.

|Winner of a Silver Medal at the 2010 International Wine & Spirit Competition. Try Wakefield Chardonnay 2009, Clare Valley. With honey on the nose, fleshy white peach and stone fruit a la nectarine, this extremely quaffable chard has a lovely creamy finish. Source: Sam Wylie-Harris, onfood.com.au|
