Another terrific off-dry Vineland Riesling from the solid 2014 vintage. Aromas of lime and lemon zest with a deep core of minerality. Pair with fresh halibut in a beurre blanc sauce.

Riesling food pairings: crème brûlée, fruit-based desserts, double chocolate cake, bread pudding.

Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Elevation Riesling from the St. Urban Vineyard on the coveted Twenty Mile Bench shows the great characteristics of premium Ontario Riesling, with honey, petrol, orchard fruit, and crisp minerality shining bright! At 8.0% this low alcohol, dry-ish Riesling is a terrific choice this spring for enjoying on a patio with Charcuterie or even BBQ fare. A dry mineral finish persists making it especially refreshing and food friendly. Tasted April 2016. 90 points. Matt Steeves - www.querusvino.ca
Vineland Estate's vintner Brian Schmidt has selected the most prestigious portions of the winery's coveted St. Urban Vineyard, first planted in 1979. It's been a best-seller in the past, so don't wait before buying as the 2012 vintage has almost sold out completely, and the wine was not produced in 2013. - Community Wine Reviews
