This Niagara Riesling is a consistently great wine, vintage after vintage. Terrific intensity of flavour yet the wine is refreshing and medium-bodied. Lovely racy acidity for seafood and shellfish.

Riesling food pairings: roast chicken, spicy pasta dishes, shrimp tempura, grilled salmon with lemon sauce, duck liver pate.

Remarkable Roast Chicken Wine

Reviews and Ratings

The minerality in this wine has ancient origins. The Niagara Escarpment was once covered by the sea and so the soil here is largely seabed and the fossilized remains sea creatures. These are what add limestone and other minerality where the vines are planted for this single vineyard Riesling. The St. Urban vines were planted in 1979, and their maturity shows wonderfully well in the wine. - Community Wine Reviews
