Vintages Wine Panel: Gracia de Chile is gradually embracing Green initiatives to lessen their carbon footprint. Their biggest step to date is the use of solar panels to generate electricity at their winery. Bío Bío Valley is a cool-climate region of Chile, and this Chardonnay is a good representation of the area. Apple, tropical fruit, citrus, pineapple and grapefruit are the prime aromas here. Fairly dry and crisp with good fruit on the mid-palate. Acidity and fruit persist to the finish. My note: Soul-soothing wine with rich aromas of Asian pear, Granny Smith apple, fig, gooseberry, almond and brioche. A lovely country kitchen wine that will have you gazing absent-mindedly out the window.

Chardonnay food pairings: grilled prawns, seared scallops, lemon grass chicken..

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
