Vintages Wine Panel: Ribero del Duero is synonymous with exceptional red wines. Deep ruby in the glass, this 100% Tempranillo is laden with red and black berry notes on the nose. Aromas of vanilla, currants, and spice add both pleasure and complexity, and are picked up and continued to great effect on the dry, medium-bodied palate. The medium-long finish is rich with flavours of woodspice. My note: Dark and savoury with lovely dark chocolate notes on the top. Underneath is fleshy dark fruit, especially plums. Full-bodied, smooth and satisfying.
Tempranillo food pairings: blackened pork, lamb.
