Reviews and Ratings

rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

The 2014 Two Oceans Sauvignon Blanc, sourced from vineyards in the Stellenbosch, Paarl, Robertson and Worcester regions, has attractive aromas of lemon and gooseberry on the nose and lime, yellow apple, gooseberry and pineapple on the palate. It is a medium bodied, dry, fruity wine; with crisp acidity, subtle minerality and a medium, refreshing finish. This wine drinks well with food or on its own; drink now – 2016/17 (screw cap enclosure). My impression: NICE, 88-89 pts – recommended for its quality and value. Tasted in Jul/14.

Community Reviewer reviewed this wine as follows:

Two Oceans Sauvignon Blanc is an elegant but crisp wine with ripe gooseberry flavours on the fore palate backed by tropical fruits and a hint of grassiness that lingers long on the aftertaste.

Community Reviewer reviewed this wine as follows:

Le Two Oceans Sauvignon Blanc est un vin élégant et vif démontrant des saveurs de groseilles et avant-plan appuyées par des fruits tropicaux et de l’herbe qui durent jusqu'r l’arricre-gout.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
