Extraordinary value/taste for the money! Mocha and dark chocolate aromas wrap themselves seductively around a core of fleshy blackberry fruit. Full-bodied and smooth. This wine is a blend of three grapes, thus “Trio”, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Cabernet Franc. Finishes with some lovely cassis and pepper notes. Perfect party wine! Food pairings: roast beef dinner. Best Beef Wine

Always reliable, this Cabernet-based Trio (70% of the mixture) shows the juicy and amiable side of the grape, with light herbal touches and an abundance of red fruit flavors in a wine that is simple and straightforward. Score: 90. Source: Patricio Tapia, Descorchados Wine Guide, 2013
