A savoury, mouth-watering juicy wine with fleshy black fruit aromas and flavours. Lots of terrific acidity for hearty meat dishes. Layered and complex. decant 1-2 hours.

Reserve 7 food pairings: roasted lamb, grilled ribeye, and strong cheeses.

Reviews and Ratings

A classic Bordeaux style blend, this vintage is almost evenly comprised of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot with essential supporting roles rounding out the palate of Cabernet Franc and a Malbec / Petite Verdot field blend. Sourcing from four different vineyards in the South Okanagan and Naramata Bench contributes to the complexity with a layering of robust flavours. This vintage will be an interesting counterpoint to hot years, which at release, shows great red berry presence and aromatics of cherry, vanilla, fall leaves and warm savoury spice.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
