Natalie's Score: 89/100

Dark and brooding with black cherry, mocha and anise on the nose. Simmering and sensual. This wine could age at least five years more. Terrific for dinner parties.

Reserve 7 Meritage food pairings: grilled beef, roasted lamb, full-flavoured cheeses such as a sharp blue, aged cheddar or Manchego.

A big wine that benefits from decanting, the Reserve 7 Meritage has aromas of berry, vanilla and spice. Unfiltered to enable the natural flavours to shine through, the palate is rich, with dark cherry, cassis, licorice and chocolate notes. Great structure and acid balance make this an excellent candidate for cellaring.
