Solid structure and terrific balance with chewy dark fruit. Good grip on this well-crafted wine. Seductive aromas of black cherries and blackberries. Bring it on!

Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: grilled ribeye steak, gouda or parmesan cheese, roasted wild game.

It is easy to see why this is such a classic French blend of these varietals, while Merlot dominates the blend, the Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc provide their own unique contributions. Aromas of blueberry, pomegranate and a sprinkling of cocoa dust start things off with flavours of chocolate-wrapped cherries and black olive in the palate. Cherry licorice rope in the finish! Ready to drink on release but look for some interesting developments if you choose to cellar it over the next five years.
